1. Introduction

HLK-LD2410-AA is a 24GHz static human presence sensor launched by Hi-link, which integrates minimalist hardware architecture and intelligent human micro motion sensing algorithm. The product is equipped with a high-performance AIoT millimeter wave radar chip, a 24GHz one transmitter one receiver antenna, and streamlined peripheral circuits. Through proprietary radar signal processing and distance detection technology, it can accurately identify the motion, micro motion, and static existence status of targets, achieving stable and reliable human presence detection.

This sensor is mainly aimed at indoor scenes and can continuously sense whether there is human activity, micro movement or stillness in the monitoring area, and output real-time detection results. Its maximum detection distance for moving human bodies can reach 9 meters, supporting flexible configuration of detection distance and unmanned delayed reporting time.

HLK-LD2410-AA provides dual GPIO and UART interfaces, supports plug and play, and can quickly adapt to various smart devices and scenario applications.

HLK-LD2410-AA Static Human Lifeform Sensor can detect and recognize moving, standing, and stationary human bodies, and is widely used in various AIoT scenarios.

2. System description

HLK-LD2410-AA is a static human life presence sensor developed based on the Hi-link millimeter wave sensor chip. The sensor adopts FMCW frequency modulation continuous wave, combined with radar signal processing and built-in intelligent human sensing algorithm, to detect human targets in the set space and update the detection results in real time. By using HLK-LD2410-AA, users can quickly develop their own precise human presence sensing products.

The hardware mainly consists of a fully integrated intelligent millimeter wave sensor SoC, a 24GHz transmitter receiver antenna, and a main control MCU;

The software is equipped with intelligent human body sensing firmware and APP tools to achieve flexible configuration of sensing distance, door threshold at various distances, and unmanned delay time for human body sensing function.
